After the untimely deaths of her father and two of her sons, Linda Losey was determined to find out where they had gone and what life was like for them once they arrived. So she asked. Author's Bio
As the result of a promise made to her youngest son Sam before his tragic death in 2004, Linda Losey became the first woman to ride across America alone on horseback using much of the American Discovery Trail. She was inducted into the elite Long Rider’s Guild in 2005.
She is the director of a children’s foundation, a freelance writer, an award-winning artist, a professional speaker, a member of Toastmasters International and president of Valley Toastmasters.
Linda is the mother of four children and lives in Sparks, Maryland on a 100 acre farm with her two surviving children and the two horses that carried her 4000 miles across America.
